Rainer Göbel

Rainer Göbel

Rainer Göbel is managing director and founder of GLL Real Estate Partners GmbH. From 1994 to 2000, Rainer Göbel worked for HypoVereinsbank, Germany´s then second largest bank, where he was responsible for institutional risk management, and subsequently for German institutional business development and real estate fund products. Prior to this Rainer Göbel worked for Allianz Insurance Group. He has been an attorney at law since 1993.

Gerd Kremer

Gerd Kremer

Gerd Kremer is managing director and founder of GLL Real Estate Partners GmbH. For the 11 years prior to creating GLL, he was a senior manager with HypoVereinsbank, Germany´s then second largest bank, where he worked in international banking and finance focused on the institutional sector. He is widely credited as being one of the first to introduce international real estate funds to the German institutional market in the early 90s, managing the structuring and formation of a range of commingled real estate funds representing approximately €2 billion in assets. He is a Board Member of one of the first funds dedicated to Central and Eastern European property investing.

Charles Dana Gibson

Charles Dana Gibson

Dana Gibson joined GLL in 2008. He is based in Munich as a Managing Director and GLLs Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining GLL, Dana was a Partner with a US-based international developer, where, as Managing Director, he was responsible for building their operations into one of the major players in Central and Eastern Europe. He has worked in the property industry for 15 years, in both general management, development and transactional roles, having been based in Washington, DC, Warsaw and Zurich prior to Munich. Dana graduated from Middlebury College in 1994 with a BA in History.
Dr. Claus Helbig

Dr. Claus Helbig

Dr. Claus Helbig, a lawyer by profession, has been Chairman of GLL Real Estate Partners GmbH, Munich, since the company's inception. Dr. Helbig retired in 2001 from his role as an Executive Management Board Member and CFO of Munich Reinsurance Company. Furthermore, he was member of the supervisory Board of Audi AG, Deutsche Asset Management and CLAAS KGaA. He also served on the European Advisory Board of Booz & Company. Currently besides his work for GLL he is Chairman of Bankhaus August Lenz & Co AG, Munich, member of the Mediolanum Banking Group, Milano, and member of the Board of The Swiss Helvetia Fund, New York.

Paul Bennison

Paul Bennison

Paul Bennison joined GLL in 2007 and is GLLs Head of Asset Management. Paul was Managing Director at Hochtief Development Poland and Managing Director with Bovis Lend Lease, a company he was with since 1991. Paul Bennison has overseen the management of major development projects from procurement of land plots, design and construction, through to leasing of space and final sale. He has an MSc in Construction Project Management from Brighton University, England.
Heike Beyer

Heike Beyer

Heike Beyer joined GLL in 2010 and is responsible for leasing marketing for GLLs global real estate portfolio. Prior to its sale, Heike headed marketing and repositioning initiatives for Messeturm. Before joining GLL, she worked for 5 years in several leasing and marketing positions for Regus Business Center GmbH and headed the leasing team of OFB Project Development for more than 8 years. Heike graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Real Estate (IREBS).
James Cunningham

James Cunningham

Jim Cunningham joined GLL in 2006, and serves as President and CFO GLLs US operations. Jim manages the reporting, treasury, mortgage financing, information technology, insurance, and human resources functions. Prior to joining GLL, Jim served as the CFO of Fremont Properties, the real estate investment management affiliate of the Bechtel Group in San Francisco. Jim began his career in 1979 in corporate finance with Exxon Corporation in Houston, Texas. Jim graduated with a Masters of Business Administration degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Jörg Fuchs

Jörg Fuchs

Jörg Fuchs joined GLL’s Fund accounting team in Munich in 2009. At the time he was responsible for the consolidation and monitoring of international accounting providers. In 2010 he moved to Luxembourg to run the GLL office there. Prior to joining GLL, Jörg Fuchs was head of the European Accounting with an US global player for home access communication. He was based in Saarbrücken and Bergamo prior to GLL. Jörg Fuchs is a Certified Tax Consultant (2003) as well as a Certified Financial Accountant (1996).
Helmut Gierstorfer

Helmut Gierstorfer

Helmut Gierstorfer joined GLL in 2006 and runs GLL’s corporate finance and tax team. He is responsible for the structuring of new acquisitions and optimisation of existing funds. Prior to joining GLL, Helmut Gierstorfer worked as a certified tax consultant in a well-known German tax and audit company. He was responsible for the audit and tax structuring of German and international companies. Helmut Gierstorfer graduated from University Regensburg with a master in business sciences.
Christian Göbel

Christian Göbel

Christian joined GLL in 2010 as an acquisition officer. Between 2010 and 2013 Christian oversaw acquisitions and divestments in various Western European, UK and Latin-American markets. In June 2013 Christian moved to the United States where he is currently overseeing GLL’s activities on the East Coast. Before joining GLL, Christian worked for Investec Property in London and Invesco in New York. He graduated from Durham University (Durham, UK) in 1999 and holds an MBA degree from ESADE (Barcelona, Spain).
Meike Jamrozy

Meike Jamrozy

Meike Jamrozy joined in 2014 to support GLLs fund management team, and has been responsible for human resources and risk management of GLLs AIFM since 2015. Prior to joining GLL, Meike worked for 3 years at Deutsche Bundesbank as a bank supervisor. Meike graduated from Economy after having working for 5 years with Stadtsparkasse Mönchengladbach, a German based bank.
Alexander Kratzel

Alexander Kratzel

Together with Florian Winkle, Alexander Kratzel is head of the Fund Management Team. He joined GLL in 2001 as a Fund Manager, being responsible for several Funds. For 12 years he worked in several different departments of the HypoVereinsbank, where he was responsible for the controlling of two Institutional US Retail Funds. Before that, he was in charge of sales of currency products and interest rate derivatives. He has a degree in banking from Frankfurt School of Finance.
Martin Müller

Martin Müller

Martin Müller joined GLL in 2006 and heads GLL’s Fund accounting team. Martin Müller is a certified international accountant (CINA). As a member of GLL’s Senior Management Team, he has been based in Munich since 2006. He is responsible for the supervision and consolidation of financial statements for several of GLLs funds with a total AUM of more than two billion Euros. He is a contributer to specialist journals and articles and heads the GLL IFRS accounting competence center. Prior to joining GLL, Martin Müller worked as a manager in a well-known German tax and audit company. He was responsible for the audit and consulting of German and international companies. Mr. Müller graduated from the University Saarbrücken with a degree as Diplom Kaufmann (comparable to a MBA in Business and Administration).
Chris Quiett

Christopher E. Quiett

Chris Quiett joined GLL in 2006. He is the head of GLL’s West coast office based in San Francisco and oversees acquisitions, dispositions and asset management. Mr. Quiett has over 20 years of experience in the asset management of large class-A properties. Prior to joining GLL, Mr. Quiett was a principal of Fremont Group and Vice President Asset Management for Fremont Properties, the real estate arm of Fremont Group. He was responsible for supervising property management, leasing, construction, and participated in acquisitions, dispositions, and development activities located in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., and Gaithersburg, (Maryland).
Alberto Rochefort

Alberto Rochefort

Alberto Rochefort joined GLL in 2009. Based in Munich until 2011, he was responsible for the asset management of properties in Belgium and Latin America. In 2011 Alberto moved to Santiago de Chile where he established GLL’s first office in Latin America which oversees the company’s activities throughout the region. Between 2006 and 2008 he was Capital Markets Director at NAI Chile, where he later became Business Director. Alberto holds a license in Economics and a BA degree from Los Andes University (Santiago).
Frank Schickram

Frank Schickram

Frank Schickram joined GLL in 2005 and is currently responsible for Valuation, Strategy and Research in Munich. Prior to this function he worked as an acquisition officer and fund manager for a globally invested, separate account. Frank Schickram has been active in the industry since 1990 with extensive experience in all aspects of valuation and management of commercial real estate; among others he holds the title as “European Recognized Valuer” (REV, TEGoVA). Before joining GLL, Frank Schickram was responsible for International Portfolio Valuations at the HypoVereinsbank in Munich. He graduated in Mass Communications, Law and Market Psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich in 1992.
Jochen Schnier

Jochen Schnier

Jochen Schnier joined GLL in 2002 and is responsible for Risk Management at GLL Real Estate Partners Gmbh. During his career at GLL Jochen has served as Head of Fund Management, General Manager Operations, and for more than three years Chief Operating Officer of GLL’s US operations. Prior to joining GLL he was with Munich Re’s MEAG, where he performed research and econometric forecasting for office and residential property markets. Jochen Schnier holds a Master’s degree in Economics (Cologne).
Florian Winkle

Florian Winkle

Florian Winkle joined GLL in 2008 and is based in Munich. In his role he is responsible for new products and leads fund management together with Mr. Kratzel. Prior to this position he was a member of the fund management team and established two segregated accounts investing in the US and the CEE Region. In a previous role with Invesco, Florian Winkle was managing director of two institutional real estate funds, based in New York. He also supervised the asset management of several syndicated properties. He graduated in 2003 and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics.
